Gabriel Esteban Molina (b. 1989) is a first-generation Canadian multidisciplinary artist of Chilean descent. Proficient with drawing at an early age, he graduated from the University of Alberta with a BFA: Fine Arts majoring in painting and sculpture. His undergraduate studies coincided with the advent of smartphones and digital photography, which began as reference material for his traditional works. Once he graduated, his practice shifted completely towards lens and screen based work drawing influence from early video art, glitch aesthetics and net-art.

He went on to study at the Chelsea College of Arts in London, United Kingdom to focus on developing his experimental practice, graduating in 2015 with an MA: Fine Art (Merit). During his studies and afterwards, Gabriel participated in many group shows throughout London and eventually landed his first solo show , Bad Gateway, at Yamamoto Keiko Rochaix. This show was featured in ATP Diarys April London favorites alongside Wolfgang Tillmans at the Tate Modern, as well as First Thursdays by Whitechapel Gallery. Since then Gabriel has been living and working in his hometown of Edmonton, Canada.
