S.C.U.D.T.B. - LATITUDE INVITATIONAL

Strange Charm Up Down Top Bottom, digital print on pvc banner, installed as part of the Latitude Invitational group exhibition at Latitude 53 in Edmonton, AB in 2017. This image plays with the familiar and the foreing, SCUDTB plays with the viewers senses by making it difficult for the viewer to focus on the heavily abstracted forms. An intentional by-product of this abstraction is the triggering of apophenia and pareidolia in the viewer, making them look for meaning in the randomness.
